OUYA the small but mighty Android-powered gaming console is up for pre-order now from Game. Finally those who didn’t back the Kickstarter project to fund the console can get there hands on one.

The release date is set for June 2013 and the console will cost you only £99.99 with one controller included. If you want to play with a friend then an additional Bluetooth controller will cost you £39.99.

So £99.99 gets you a fantastic console with awesome specs. A quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and HDMI for 1080p HD graphics. Can’t complain at all.

The good thing about this console is it runs Android Jelly Bean so unlike your other consoles you won’t have to buy physical games. Instead games can be purchased on the console straight from Google play. Some titles even include a try before you buy option.

We are excited about OUYA and the fact that developers will be going crazy to bring out new titles. Lets hope it lives up to the hype.

BeginnersTech was an idea I had one Sunday when I was bored. It is now not only a website but a successful YouTube channel that takes me all over the world. Don’t ever let anyone discourage you. Chase those dreams.
