Plex Update,Trailers and Playlists have arrived

How great would it be if movie trailers simply appeared whenever you added a movie to your Plex library? We’re excited to announce fully integrated trailers, interviews, behind the scenes featurettes, and more!Plex Pass members automatically get access to this high quality online content. And of course, if you’ve already got extras lying around looking for a home, Plex will make those look great for all users.

We didn’t want to stop at just bringing you trailers, we wanted to bring the full cinema experience to your living room (without the sticky floors). With our new Cinema Trailers feature, Plex now lets you start off your movie with a few trailers for movies from your library or from new and upcoming releases. Now available for Plex Web, Plex Home Theater, and Plex for iOS, with support for additional platforms coming soon.

We know, we know, playlists are awesome and we haven’t supported them… until now. As we previously mentioned, the Play Queue feature was a prelude to full-blown playlists, and we’re happy to say that our playlists are now available and are gorgeous! You can also easily import iTunes playlists, smart playlists, ratings, play counts and more. Now available for Plex Web and Plex for iOS, with support for additional platforms coming soon.
