Rumour: Apple to use TSMC for A7 CPU to allow them to ditch Samsung

a6 cpu

Apple and Samsung are like Superman and Lex Luthor, Ill let you guy’s decide who’s who. The fact is they hate each other but Apple relies heavily on Samsung for a large amount of the components it uses. If the Korea Times is to be believed then Apple could be saying goodbye to Samsung. The newspaper is claiming that Apple who spend billions per year on Samsung components will now turn to TSMC for the production of it’s next CPU. The newspaper’s source and also one of Samsung’s partners is claiming that Samsung have been cut out of development of the A7 CPU, so the claim’s could well be true as the rumour seems to be popping up everywhere.
