Samsung confirms which phones will get Android 4.4 KitKat in USA

KitKatSamsung  has today confirmed the range of phones that will receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update in the coming weeks in the USA. The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 should be first to be updated, the long list of other devices finally give us more balance on updates.

Samsung says to expect KitKat to arrive for the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 4 mini, Galaxy S 4 Active, Galaxy S 4 zoom, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S III mini, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Light, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy Note 10.1, and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Samsung also revealed that the updates to those phones will be a done exclusively by the carriers, so the carriers will have to put their own apps etc onto the phones before the release.

Now all we need is for Samsung to extend this to Europe. The question is will they?
