Samsung Galaxy K Zoom camera is official


Today Samsung Electronics UK have just announced the Galaxy K Zoom, what they call a “Camera-Specialized Smartphone” featuring a 20-megapixel sensor attached to a 4.8-inch smartphone.

As you would expect the Galaxy K Zoom is running Android 4.4 KitKat as well as a whole suite of Samsung’s custom software. The specs don’t look to bad either.

– 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display
– Hexa-core processor (1.3GHz quad-core, 1.7GHz dual-core)
– 20.7-megapixel camera with 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor, 10x optical zoom, Xenon flash and optical image stabilization
– 2-megapixel front-facing shooter
– 2GB of RAM
– 8GB built-in storage
– microSD card slot
– 2430mAh battery
– 3G/LTE connectivity
– Android 4.4 KitKat
