Samsung Galaxy S4 announcement confirmed for March 14th in NYC

We heard all the rumours that March 14th would be the date Samsung announced the new Galaxy S4 and now it’s official. The news broke at Mobile World Congress today.

Samsung is holding the event in New York City this time round due to being bombarded with requests.

“We introduced the Galaxy S III in London last year,” Samsung Electronics’ mobile division chief JK Shin told Edaily news. “This time we changed the Venue (to New York)… as we were bombarded with requests from US mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country.”

So what can we expect to see? If the rumours are true the Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a full HD display with a 1920×1080 resolution and feature a full aluminium body. The handset will be powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core processor and feature new imaging software known as orb. It is safe to assume that the new Galaxy will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as Samsung like to keep up to date.

So in less than 3 weeks we will see what has to be the most anticipated Android handset this year, are you excited? What do you hope to see?
