Samsung to launch Galaxy K Zoom in UK on May 31

Galaxy K ZoomSamsung Electronics today announced that customers in the UK will be able to buy the Galaxy K zoom from selected online and high street retailers, including Samsung Experience Stores and Carphone Warehouse from Saturday 31st May.

As a quick reminder, the Galaxy K Zoom is the successor to last year’s Galaxy S4 Zoom, and includes what’s essentially a fully-functional point-and-shoot camera, complete with optical zoom, on its back. It’s got a 20.7-megapixel sensor with 10X optical zoom sitting atop a 4.8-inch smartphone running Android 4.4 KitKat. You’ll settle for a lower screen resolution, though, as the Zoom’s display is only a 720p panel. On the inside, it’s powered by a six-core Samsung Exynos processor.
