Samsung set to release it’s slimmest smartphone to date

It looks like Samsung is finished releasing mid-range smartphones of the thin and metal variety if a leak by Chinese wireless regulator Tenna is anything to go by. The new leaked handset doesn’t quite match the Galaxy Alpha’s specs but the new 5.5-inch Galaxy A7 is definitely the best of the A-series handsets.

The new handset is only 6.3mm thin making it Samsung’s slimmest model ever. It arrives with a 1080p screen, 64-bit Snapdragon 615 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB (non-upgradeable) memory and 13-megapixel front/5-megapixel rear cameras. So as you can see the specs are not to bad at all. The bad news is the model above is strictly for the Chinese market so we will have to wait and see if Samsung brings it to our market.
