Samsung unveils the Galaxy Grand 2

Galaxy Grand 2

If the selection of large smartphones you already have to choose from just doesn’t cut it then maybe you will be happy to hear you have yet another to choose from. Samsung has just unveiled the Galaxy Grand 2 that adds a little bump in hardware specs from the original Galaxy Grand but do not be fooled this is still a mid-range device we are looking at.

The Galaxy Grand features a 5.2-inch display that has a resolution of 1280×720, although not the best it is still a pretty decent screen. The Galaxy Grand comes loaded with Android 4.3 with Samsung’s latest version of Touchwiz and features a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1.5GB of RAM. Now here’s were it starts to go down hill a little, the Galaxy Grand comes with only 8GB of onboard storage but there is a microSD slot to compensate. Keeping the device powered is a fairly decent sized 2,600mAh battery but do remember it may not last as long as you would think due to that huge screen. On the rear of the device you will also find an 8MP shooter.

As you would expect with a Samsung device they have included all the latest apps and services like S-Transaltor, S-Travel and Samsung Hub. The Galaxy Grand will come in black, white or pink depending on regions and carriers and will also be available in a dual-SIM variety if that’s your thing. As of yet no pricing details have been giving but we will let you know when we find out. The full press release is below with all the details.
