The Sky Movies app has been on iOS for a long time now and today finally Android users can get hold of the app. If you download the app you will be able to check out channel listings, read information about films and look up theatre listings. If you are registered with Sky Go you can stream movies straight from your device and a feature that I am sure you will enjoy is the ability to set your Sky+ HD box to record straight from your Android device. If your ready to download the app check out the source link at the bottom of the page after the full press release.

Customers can use the Android version of the app to explore the full list of movies currently showing across Sky’s movie channels, which as of the end of this month will also include the brand new channel, Sky Movies | Disney. Innovative functionality built within the app, means that Sky Movies customers can use their Android handset to record movies to their Sky+ HD box while on the move.
