Sky’s movie rental service now open to all in the UK

image

Sky has placed a lot of focus on its streaming subscription services lately but these services just don’t cater for everyone so in an attempt to cater for more viewers sky is showing some love to those of us who like to rent the odd movie or two. The Sky Store that was only available to it’s TV customers will now be open to all in the UK and aim to rival Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. This will allow anyone with a browser, YouView box or Roku etc to rent any of Sky’s 1,200 movies. The rentals are well priced at £3.49 per rental with some older titles only costing 99p-£1.99. If you are already a Sky customer you can also access the new service via your Sky+ box.

BeginnersTech was an idea I had one Sunday when I was bored. It is now not only a website but a successful YouTube channel that takes me all over the world. Don’t ever let anyone discourage you. Chase those dreams.
