Sony tears down the PlayStation 4, giving us a good look inside

We love teardowns here on BeginnersTech and thanks to Sony we can have a good look at the upcoming PlayStation 4. Sony have given us a few sneak peaks and teardowns before but there not common practice. The teardown comes courtesy of Wired where engineering lead Yashuhiro Ootori pulls the PS4 apart down to it’s motherboard. During the teardown we see glimpses of that custom AMD processor and its companion chip that is used for standby mode. There are also detailed looks at the cooling and storage units so if teardowns are your thing you will want to visit the source links below.
