Sony Xperia T3 shows up on Sony website

9_Xperia_T3_Lifestyle_In_UseAs we near the end of new flagship devices being shown off for 2014. Attention now  starts to turn to mid-range devices. Today Sony is introducing its sleek new Xperia T3, an Android device that features specs worthy of some flagship devices.

It’s specs include:
5.3-inch 720p Triluminos Bravia display,
1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor,
8-megapixel camera,
2500mAh battery.

Also included is a pleasant design made of stainless steel and matte plastic, which allows it to be both thin and light. Technically speaking, it’s the world’s slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone, though we don’t know of too many other 5.3-inch smartphones.

The Xperia T3 comes in black, white and purple and features some Sony’s specific features. These include Timeshift Burst, which takes 31 photos in 2 seconds to make sure that you don’t miss a shot. Overall the Xperia T3 looks to be a decent, well-rounded mid-range device. The Xperia T3 will be available in July, although price not known at this time.

Calum MacDougall, Director of Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications said:

“Xperia T3 has been crafted with attention to detail for those who know how to appreciate distinctive design in their everyday life. The T3 is packed with the latest beautiful technology from Sony – including leading digital imaging expertise and a vivid HD display – all within a stylish, stainless steel frame. The combination of this beautiful technology and the premium design ensures the T3 immediately stands apart from the competition,”
