Sony Xperia Tablet Z get’s the official tear down treatment


Just incase you where curious what is hiding inside Sony’s stylish Xperia Tablet Z, Sony has decided to post an official tear down video to satisfy you. The video features a Sony-certified tablet surgeon ripping out the guts of the Tablet Z to reveal something special, yeah you guessed it TABLET PARTS! In the video you will see tiny PCBs and a huge battery pack and lots of glue and tape. Yes i said glue and tape, this is there as this is common practice in waterproof products and keeps the Tablet Z waterproof.

Just incase you havent heard of the Xperia Tablet Z it packs some pretty awesome features that include a 10.1-inch WUXGA display that provides a resolution of 1920 x 1200, a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHZ. There is also 2GB of RAM, a microSD slot and an eight megapixel camera unit on the back, and a two megapixel shooter up front. The tablet will ship running Android Jelly Bean 4.1 with the promise of a 4.2 upgrade just after launch. The pricing starts at £399 for the 16GB WiFi model and goes up to £499 for the 32GB WiFi model. There’s also a 16GB LTE/4G Sony Xperia Tablet Z, but no price has been revealed for that model just yet. The tablet has an expected delivery date of between April 12th and 15th and can be pre-ordered now. The official tear down is below enjoy.
