The Vivo X5 Max Makes Any Phone Look Chunky

If you thought the Oppo R5 was thin then check this out. Vivo has just announced a super-thin smartphone that is a mere 4.75mm thin. Named the X5 Max is the latest device to the market looking to claim the world’s thinnest smartphone title and by the looks of it they have managed just that.

So let’s take a look at the specifications,  the X5 Max has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display, dual sim slots (micro and nano, if only one is in use it can be used for microSD card), 1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and 1.0 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, 13th rear camera (Sony IMX214 sensor) and last but not least a 5MP shooter on the front.

If you like your music then you will be happy to know that the X5 Max has a Yamaha YSS-205X chip coupled with Hi-Fi 2.0 support from the built-in speakers. Were looking forward to seeing all the reviews arriving on this or should I say all the videos of people snapping it in half. Vivo expect the X5 Max to launch on December 22 for CNY 2,998 (£310).

So now for the question on everyone’s mind is 4.75mm to thin for a smartphone?
