Twitter today announced two new features coming to its service. Direct Group Messaging and Mobile Video Camera upload support. The update will be rolling out for official apps on both iOS and Android.
So Twitter is now joining the likes of WhatsApp, Link and Skype to provide a group conversation by supporting personal direct messaging with multiple contacts.
The good news is that you don’t have to be following or be followed to create a group. Invite notifications are received by those coming into the group and, once connected you’re good to go.
Capture, edit and share videos right from your Twitter app
So watch out for the Twitter update for the Android app rolling out soon.
