Twitter’s Android app now optimized for tablets but only if it’s made by Samsung

There have been a few leaks showing us a Twitter app for Android tablets and now it’s official. As you would expect the tablet optimized app provides a nice landscape view that shows the user both the Twitter timeline and content from expanded tweets. When you tap on a post you will now see article previews or media without losing your place in the social stream. That’s not all tho as there’s a new home screen widget, multi-app viewing support and an illustrator tool for hand-drawn artwork. So this all sounds great eh? Well if you want this you’ll either have to own or buy a Samsung tablet to use this app in its official form at least. That’s not the only catch tho as the tablet-optimized Android software is available only for the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) right now, and it’s not making its way to other Samsung tablets until a later date.
