UK HTC One Update Now Available. But

We learned the other day that the UK was set to get a hefty update for the HTC One. Said update is now available for users with unlocked devices. Everyone else will have to sit and twiddle their thumbs while the various carriers send the update out themselves.

In case you forgotten this update includes:
• Improved Zoe sound capture
• Noise reduction when filming slow-motion
• Improved color reproduction and dynamic range
• Fix to display correct ISO in EXIF information when ISO settings are changed manually
• Overall improved system performance
The update comes in at 229 MB.
So there you have it. It’s safe to say that this update will eventually makes it’s way over to US, but there is currently no time frame on that. You’ll all just have to be content with your slightly worse One’s for the time being.

Three_UK say it will be about 3 to 4 weeks from the release of the unlocked update once they have tested it and, of course put their source code in. And I suspect it will be the same for all the UK networks
