Viber for Windows Phone 8 gets updated

Windows Phone 8 users have been using a less than adequate version of Viber for several months now but thankfully WP8 users can experience what iOS and Android users have had for some time.

The new update now supports free calls with HD audio, lock screen notifications and the ability to pin conversations on your Start screen. The new version also includes photo sharing and group conversations with the ability to include up to 40 people.

Viber is a fantastic app, if you have never used it before why not give it a try now? If you hit the source link you will be able to download now. It will really come in handy when your call time or messages are running low and it’s all free.
