Vodafone releases new entry level smartphone for £50

Word has arrived from Vodafone that they are launching a new entry level Android smartphone. The device known as the Smart 4 Mini is not a device that you would run out to buy but it’s an important part of Vodafone’s entry level lineup, providing the consumer with an Android device for just £50.

Specs are what you would expect of such a cheap phone. There’s a 4-inch display, dual-core 1.3GHz CPU and a low 512MB of RAM. It’s running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which may not be the newest software but it will be perfect for the type of person buying such a device. So if your on a budget or want a cheap Android device for messing around with then Vodafone is the place to go. The full Press release is below.
