Wii U owners to miss out on this years Call Of Duty

Bad news for Wii U owners who were looking forward to playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare this fall. It seems that Activision has made the decision to miss Nintendo’s latest console out with its latest futuristic shooter. The news arrived as a fan took to Twitter to ask co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, CoD:AW‘s developer, if the title would be making it’s way to the Wii U and Condry gave the disappointing reply that it wasn’t happening as his team was focussing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC launches. He also said the it was an “Activision decision”.

It seems odd that the Wii U will not see the title given it has for the last two years. It will also be appearing on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that has similar specs buy we have seen the same action from big player Ubisoft who say that its just not worth the investment. It seems not enough Wii U owners are spending money on the blockbuster titles so I’m sure this won’t be the last disappointment coming their way.
