At the moment Microsoft have more questions than answers when it comes to the Windows 10 release for smartphones. Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore, who runs the team doing Windows Phone/Tablet/PC product definition & design, has taken to Twitter to answer a few of them. One question that seems to be at the top with some users is addressing the 512MB RAM devices like the Lumia 625 and where they stand as well as how wide the initial Technical Preview will be. It seems that Windows Phones with 512MB RAM could see a reduction in features as they would not be able to function with all the features. Or as Joe Belfiore puts it “Features may vary.”
“Timing for various phones may be variable as well. When we first launch insider program, it’ll be a subset of phones with more coming later”
“Also, we’re on track for Insider build coming “in Feb” as Terry said at our 1/21 event. We need to complete internal testing 1st, hang in!”
