WindowsPhone 10 for Phones concept inspired by Android

Concept_Windows10-2When you see a Android influenced WindowsPhone 10 concept, it stops you to think about it, well it does me.

Sam Kurd (twitter) who’s an Iranian architect has put together an inspiring one here. Unlike most WindowsPhone fans Sam couldn’t wait till 21st January and decided to created the above vision based on leaks, rumours, and his dreams of what the real OS will look like.

There does seem to be an Android influence from the very active lock screen, translucent windows and horizontal-scrolling start screen, but that in itself is not a bad thing. Drawing on the good bit of another OS is okay by me.

One feature which I would like to see is support for Bluetooth keyboards and mice, and streaming desktop apps from the cloud. App switching by edge swiping, of course already present in Windows 8.1, and so potentially possible in Windows 10 for phones.
When you watch the video you will come across a Autodesk section, if you want to skip this and goto 3.35 min to see more of the concept

It’s great-looking, and it does show you just what can be achieved with a little bit of thought.
What do you think of the design? Let us know below.
