I use the WordPress app on a daily basis and to be honest it has never really looked great, sure it works but design wise it was plain. Today however WordPress has updated it’s Android app to version 3.5 and it brings with it a lovely material design look that fits in with Android Lollipop perfectly.

There were a few other changes, the full changelog is below:

– Material redesign and overall redesign (round avatars, new icons, color scheme update)
– Mentions auto-completion in comments (start typing “@username” for the username of another user on your blog, within a comment area)
– New grid layout for Media Library on tablets
– Fetch blog visibility status on first login
– Bug fixes

What do you think of the update? Personally I think its lovely and much needed.
