WRAP-UP: Moto 2015

Moto 2015 Family Portrait[1]

Motorola 2015

2015 is going to be the year we will never forget. We the consumer will soon have plenty of options for our next smartphone. What would it be?

Motorola introduced not one, not two, but three. That’s right three new phones, the Moto G, Moto X Style/Pure and Moto X Play. Each sporting the same design with a metal strip (customizable) in the back and the famous dimple, now smaller. Plus, moto maker for everyone! You heard right, customize any new moto phone with moto maker.

Moto X Play

Sadly, my fellow Americans and I are excluded from getting our hands on the Moto X Play. The Play edition will only be available in Europe, Latin America, and Canada (you lucky bastards). Coming with a whooping 48 hr. battery life (take notes Samsung, LG, etc.), 3630 mAh. Depending on how you plan on using this phone, it could last you DAYS!!! Again, you lucky bastards. You have a 5.5 HD Display with a Snapdragon processor that promises speed along with a 21 megapixel camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.

Moto X Style/Pure Edition

Next comes Motorola’s Flagship, the Moto X Style or the Moto X Pure Edition (both exact same phones, Pure edition comes unlocked). This years Moto X sports a 5.7, similar size to the Nexus 6, along with two front facing speakers. I am especially fond over the larger display, the bigger the better is what I like to say. You might of missed this, but shots were fired (not literally) when Motorola claimed its Flagship will give you 10 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging with TurboPower, directed towards the Samsung Galaxy S6. “Duck!” What? More shots!? It seems Motorola is not a big fan of Samsung because “Moto X Style now boasts one of the best cameras in the industry. You can take crystal-clear photos and video with the 21-megapixel camera or look your best in selfies or video chats with the 5-megapixel front-facing camera featuring a wide angle lens and selfie flash.”

Moto G

Last but not least is the cheapest, yet awesome Moto G. Don’t let the price fool you, this phone is one of the most popular budget phones on the market. Sure it might not be as powerful like the Play or Style, but…hold on—its best if I just showed you. Take a look…

Final Thoughts

Motorola pulled it off in 2015. With three amazing smartphones you can, “Find Your Perfect Moto Match…” For those of you planning on purchasing but don’t know which, allow to me to give you my personal opinion. If you’re on a tight budget, then go for the  Moto G, great phone for the price of $179. If you have money to throw around (I’ll take some) then go for the Moto X Style/Pure, no questions asked—it’s a flagship, what more do you want? And for those that are able to get their hands on the Moto X Play, get it! Don not hesitate, buy it and love it you lucky s.o.b’s.
