Xbox One’s Forza 5 adding the famed Long Beach circuit this week

Forza-Motorsport-5-Review-Hero-001

Microsoft has today announced that they will release the famed Long beach circuit for the Xbox One racing game Forza Motorsport 5. That’s not the only good news tho as it will arrive as free DLC and be available tomorrow when the content update drops.

Just incase you haven’t seen this circuit before the Long Beach circuit is set in Souther California and feature’s some awesome straights and tight turns. As we have never seen this circuit in a Forza title before we hope that Microsoft keeps to there promise and maintains a high degree of authenticity for the virtual experience. If a post on Xbox Wire is anything to go by then we are in for a treat as they have boasted that they have created the course and it’s surroundings with “obsessive precision”.

Microsoft says:

“From the angles of each unique palm tree along Shoreline Drive to every nuance of the track’s surface, this circuit is a racing experience unlike any other,”

As stated the Long Beach circuit itself is free for all Forza 5 players but Microsoft will also offer a “Long Beach Booster Pack” featuring five cars to add to your garage and race along this awesome track. The cars include the 1977 Ford Coyote Gilmore77, the 1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale, the 1956 Jaguar D-Type, the 1998 Mercedes-Benz AMG Mercedes CLK GTR, and the 1971 Ferrari #2 Ferrari Automobili 312 P. If you are a Forza 5 Car Pass owner you can download the car pack for free but there is no pricing for those who are not as of yet.

Anyone else looking forward to blasting round this course? I know I am.
