Yet another blow dealt by Microsoft: Xbox One chat headset not included

It seems to be one blow after another being dealt by Microsoft to the Xbox faithful. The bad news comes in a statement to Ars Technical. “Xbox One does not include a pack-in headset accessory,” a Microsoft spokesperson said, this comes as another major shock as Microsoft seem to describe it as “a must have accessory for online gamers.” The spokesperson goes on to say “Each Xbox One includes the new Kinect sensor, with a highly sensitive multi-array microphones designed to enable voice inputs and chat as a system-level capability, both in-game and with Skype and other experiences.”

Some may say business is business but Microsoft have always included a headset in some form since the days of the original Xbox. There are no pricing details available yet for the headset but let’s hope it is not to terrible. It is starting to look bad for Microsoft as the PlayStation 4 its biggest competitor that is ¬£100 cheaper comes with a headset included as well. What do you think about the latest news from Microsoft? Have you had enough or do you not care and will still buy an Xbox One.
