Zenus have been making luxury case’s for some time now and thanks to Anna at mytrendyphone.co.uk we have been given the opportunity to review this lovely case. The Zenus Masstige Colour Edge Diary Leather case for iPhone 5 comes in many colour options and states class at first glance and is sure to attract attention.

Build Quality

As we know build quality is a vital part of any accessory‘, Zenus seem to have went all out with this case and have cut no corners. As soon as you take the case out of its packaging and hold it you can feel the high quality leather in all its glory. There is a lovely metal Zenus logo on the bottom right of the case that just helps set it off. The case uses a stud lock that snaps open with ease allowing you to fold the case open like a diary. We actually prefer this style of lock as the usual magnet locks just don’t cut it at times. The inside is also lined with leather and like the clasp, is a different colour to the rest of the case. The two tone effect is lovely we have chosen black/green but as stated earlier there are many options. The inside of the case features integrated pockets to keep your credit cards or money safe so it double’s as a small wallet and is ideal for use on a night out. The tray itself holds the iPhone 5 firmly in position and allows you to access all the ports and buttons with ease. The rear of the case features an open area that allows you to fully utilize the camera. While the case is closed the iPhone can be charged without any issues.

When the clasp is locked your phone is completely covered which means it is totally protected so no worries at all. The soft leather outer and the hard shell seem to cover every angle of our iPhone. If dropped during a call you still have protection. The sides are obviously still well protected but another feature that we loved is the fact that the tray that holds the iPhone in place has a raised lip that will offer a decent bit of protection if dropped face down. Pair this case with a screen protector and you should be well covered.

Overall this case is a favourite of mine and one of the best flip style iPhone 5 cases I have reviewed. The balance of protection and looks makes the Masstige feel like a really expensive case but it will only set you back £31.10 from mytrendyphone.co.uk. The colour options available will suit both black and white varients of the iPhone 5 perfectly.
