As of this morning, an issue with Facebook is preventing users from posting status updates. Plenty of of users taking to Twitter on @Facebook Down page, you’ll notice that no statuses have been posted recently. If you try to tell the world what’s on your mind, you’ll get this message:
It seems to be intermittent as we have tried via mobile and messages have gone through but from PC seems to be the major problem area. One of our Facebook accounts is working but the other is still down.
So far, there is no word from Facebook but we’ll keep you posted. If you’ve always wanted to try out Twitter, now’s a great time. And if you need to wish someone a happy birthday, you can’t do that either. Try sending a card.
UPDATE: It seems that Facebook is back up and running. If you are still having problems please let us know.
