Free games announced for PlayStation Plus EU in May

Free games announced for PlayStation Plus in May

The newest selection of free games for PlayStation Plus members in Europe has been announced. This announcement was for Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.

Two will be available during May for the PlayStation 3. The first of these is Payday 2, which lets players play through a variety of heists, ranging from convenience stores to banks. Also free on PS3 will be Puppeteer, a platformer made by SCE Japan Studio and released last September.

Similar to the PS3, the PlayStation Vita gets two free games. Muramasa Rebirth, the Vita port of, Muramasa: The Demon Blade. The other is the latest entry in Sony’s long-running golf series, Everybody’s Golf.

The poor PlayStation 4 just gets a single free Plus game in May, the soon-to-be-released Stick it to the Man. In Europe, it will be available to Plus members at launch for free, though it will not be available as a cross-buy title with the PS3 and Vita versions.

These five games will enter Europe’s PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection just prior to the start of May, on April 30. At the same time, five previous Plus games–Mercenary Kings, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, BioShock Infinite, Hotline Miami, and MotoGP 13–will leave the service.
