Google Now on iOS devices starting today

Google have made us sit-up again with the release of Google Now for iOS. We thought they would be busy getting ready for the Google I/O conference next month 15/17th May.

But surprise, surprise they shoot out the Google Now app for iOS that will be a red-hot download today. Google Now, a service that Android users have enjoyed for a year, and those of us who use iOS users have had to wait, but wait no more. one thing worth noting is that it is not a standalone app, it is a update for Google Search.

Although it will be missing the integration with notifications or alerts at launch, it may come in a future update, but the company wasn’t willing to divulge its future plans, so you’ll need to enter the app and swipe up to refresh your list of cards.

Some cards are missing that are on the Android version: activity summary, events, concerts, boarding passes, Fandango and Zillow. These features will come out soon enough though, but for now at least you have it.

So hit the App Store icon below for your download
