Lumia Selfie app update releases a new feature

LumiaSelfie_3Microsoft Mobile have released an update for the Lumia Selfie app. This latest update for the app, version let you flip image after capture in the crop and reframe screen. Other than that, the update doesn’t bring anything new.

For those of you who don’t know about Lumia Selfie, here is a short excerpt from the app’s description:

Lumia Selfie is the perfect app for taking self portraits with your front or main camera and sharing them with your friends. It’s easy to capture the perfect picture of yourself, automatically enhanced and ready to share. You can use a Treasure Tag accessory as a remote shutter in Lumia Selfie. You can also fine-tune your selfie’s appearance and apply high-quality effects.

The remote shutter feature requires the Lumia Cyan software update or later. To get the latest software update for your phone, go to Settings > Phone Update. Remote shutter works best when you have the Treasure Tag app version 1.7 or later installed.

It’s also worth noting that the app is exclusive to Lumia smartphones – meaning that you won’t be able to install the app on any other Windows Phone, such as the HTC One M8 for Windows. The app is pretty useful for self-portraits.

The phone and your face has to be straight on. Don’t bother if you turn your head or phone sideways. It will not work. And I see absolutely no way to edit other than “square.”
