Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 announced

If you didn’t like Samsung’s 8-inch offering then maybe you will prefer the new 7-inch one? Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab 3 and it comes with some nice specs for a budget tablet. It will feature a 1.2GHz processor, 8 or 16GB  of storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD, 3 megapixel camera on the rear and a 1.3 megapixel up front. The screen is a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) TFT display and the battery is a generous 4,000mAh beast. The specs suggest that it will definitely be priced on the lower end of the scale but we are awaiting conformation. The Galaxy Tab 3 is running Android JellyBean 4.1 and will launch globally this May, there is a 3G version expected to follow in June that you can see in the slideshow above and this version will also be able to make calls so you can decide if that’s worth the wait. The full press release is below as usual.
