Samsung has not yet announced the Galaxy A8, but as many other smartphones, the device has been leaked and we have a list of specs we can expect to see in the device when it is officially announced. Most interesting of all is the camera. A 16 megapixel sensor is in this 5.8mm thin device.
SamMobile reveals how the South Korean company was able to put the 16 megapixel sensor into the device. The A8 will have a super thin 5mm camera module, being 23 percent thinner than the module on the Note 4. The size of the pixels will be smaller than in the Note 4 or S6 cameras, so we can’t expect the same amount of detail and sharpness in pictures taken with the A8, but it still is an impressive achievement by Samsung that will certainly attract a good amount of customers purely because of the numbers.
The device also allegedly features a 5.7-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 615 processor, a 3500mAh battery, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage plus microSD support.
