Sony Xperia Z1 Compact goes on sale well per-order in the UK

UK-based retailers have start advertising that they’ve taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Z1.

Phones4u offers the Xperia Z1 Compact in Black, Lime, Pink and White on contract. Vodafone and the EE group, (EE, T-Mobile and Orange) will also be stocking the phone. The phone itself is free, monthly plans start at £30. If you pre-order from Phones4u, the retailer will throw in a Sony wireless speaker (SRS-BTX300, valued at £120) and up to £65 in movies and music.

The phone will be delivered on January 31 for those who pre-order today.

If you don’t want a contract, Unlocked-Mobiles and Clove both offer the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact on pre-order for £440.00 (including VAT). The stock will arrive in early February. Carphone Warehouse and O2 both have the phone on pre-order, O2 have a policy of not supplying a charger, this is their policy:

O2 is working to try and reduce waste. And as 70% of people already have a USB charger at home, we’ve decided to not include one with your phone. If you do need a charger, add one at a discounted price – you can do this after choosing your tariff. O2 does not make money from selling the charger separately.

All four color options for the Z1 Compact – Black, White, Pink and Lime – are available.
